maľbe sa autorka venuje niekoľko rokov, väčšinou vo svojej tvorbe používa akrylové a olejové farby, ktoré nanáša na plátno, štetcom, špachtľou, či rukami. Maľba je pre Katarínu cesta, ktorou vchádza do svojho sveta, sveta sebe vlastného, sveta ticha, pokoja, kde je len maľba a ona sama.. Inšpirácie nachádza všade okolo seba, v sebe, a sebe vlastným tempom spoznáva svet maľby svojimi vlastnými skúsenosťami, pokusmi, dotykmi, krokmi, aj omylmi.. Inšpirácia je všetko, život, láska, umenie, svet okolo nás, svet v nás, rozmanitosť, inakosť, pestrosť, ktorá robí náš svet krásnym.. Ku každému obrazu Katarína napíše i báseň, ktorá je akýmsi vstupom, otvorenými dverami do jej sveta pocitov, podnetov, ktoré sú odrazom jej videnia danej maľby, tematiky. Vo svojom voľnom čase rada číta, miluje zvieratá a v dnešnom akosi rýchlo letiacom svete si váži dobré medziľudské vzťahy.

The author has been painting for several years; she mostly uses acrylic and oil paints which areapplied on canvas by brush, spatula or hands. For Katarina painting is the way through which she enters into her own world, inner world, the world of silence and peace, where there is only she and the painting. Inspiration is found all around, in herself, and she gets to know the world of paining in her own pace, by her own experiences, experiments, touch, steps and mistakes. Inspiration is everything, life, love, art, the world around us, the world within us, diversity, inaccuracy, colourfulness that makes our world beautiful. For every picture Katarina writes a poem that is an entrance and door-opening to her world of feelings, stimuli that reflect her vision of the painting, the theme. In her free time she likes to read, she loves animals, and she values good human relationships in today’s fast-paced world.
